Improving success at an SEO outsourcing agency

BizCatalyst Pty Ltd is a Melbourne-based SEO outsourcing company that performs some or all the tasks required for the campaigns sold by its customers, which are prominent SEO agencies.

SEO success is often measured by getting a keyphrase to rank in the top-10 results in Google, Bing and Yahoo. The retail agency needs a high success rate so that their customer will continue to renew their contract and retain the high rankings. In turn, BizCatalyst has to work hard to get these rankings, but it is not possible to get a top ranking for any random keyphrase within a certain budget.

TrainSEM was asked by BizCatalyst to fly to Pune, India and train its 20+ staff over the course of one week. This training comprised a mix of classroom lessons and smaller group sessions. It also involved auditing internal processes and suggesting new tactics. Several follow-up sessions were conducted over a Skype connection and by email.
